We are well-known in the Bay Area for a wide selection of quality plants, in addition to our large houseplant offerings and garden-themed gift shop.
Cashier staff members are among our last line of excellent service towards our customers.
They operate a Point-of-Sale system, pack customer selections, and help answer last-minute questions.
The ideal candidate is friendly and team-oriented, and enjoys working in an active and fast-paced environment.
If selected, staff members can expect to work 32-40 hours per week.
We have 2 schedules currently available:
Thursday-Monday, 9:
00am-5:
30pm Thursday-Sunday, 9:
00am-5:
30pm Job Responsibilities Cashiering Occasionally answering phones Occasionally helping customers out to their cars Light sweeping, dusting, stocking, and maintaining the sales area Physical Requirements Able and willing to stand, twist, bend, and squat repeatedly over 8 hour work shift Able and willing to lift up to 20 pounds Able and willing to work indoors and outdoors, rain or shine Wage Transparency Per CA law, the wage range for this position is $16-$20 per hour.
Starting wage dependent on experience.
Part-time and full-time schedules are available.
This is a seasonal/temporary position, typically lasting March through June.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
